THURS. 3/8 – This week, ASME and Pi Tau Sigma, the Mechanical Engineering Honors Society, co-hosted Battle of the MechE’s. Both teams competed in a series of games including Pictionary and Charades, with PTS emerging as the victors. Ice cream and beverages were also provided. Thanks to everyone who came out.
THURS. 3/2 – Graduate student Kevin Paulsen presented his research in microfluidics with Professor Chung to ASME members at the general body meeting. His research revolves around using UV lights to polymerize 3D shapes on the micro and nano scale. The talk included an explanation of the science behind microfluidics, the different types of experiments going on in his lab, and what they plan to research next. Thanks to everyone who came out and to Kevin for giving the talk.
